CLASSES

I teach dynamic vinyasa flow yoga, which I slow down for more restorative or beginner classes, or add in challenges for power yoga and more advanced practitioners.

PUBLIC CLASS SCHEDULE

Regular public classes I teach every week TBC and I also pop up quite a lot for classes across Chorley.

CORPORATE YOGA

Corporate yoga classes are a great antidote for those who spend a lot of time at their desks. A typical office yoga class will lengthen and strengthen tired muscles and stretch out the entire body, whilst also promoting stress busting breathing techniques and relaxation. These yoga classes are suitable for first time yogis as well as the more experienced. Lots of variations and modifications will be offered and you'll leave the practise feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. Yoga can be beneficial for people in any profession, both physically and mentally. Get in touch if you'd like to discuss bringing yoga to your workplace. One-off sessions available and I offer discounts for booking 4 or more.

PRIVATE YOGA

I offer private classes which can be taken in the comfort of your own home at a convenient time for you. Private yoga sessions are a great way to work on specific goals or aims, as well as looking after any injuries or conditions you may be working with. Private yoga classes are personal and tailored to you, making sure you're getting everything you need from your practise. Private yoga classes can be taken 1:1 or with up to 3 students. Please get in touch to arrange a chat and to book. I offer discounts for booking 5 or more classes.

ACRO YOGA

Acro Yoga is practiced with a partner and often a third person. The person doing the lifting is called the base, the second person being lifted is the flyer and the third person is the spotter who is there for safety and to assist. A session will usually start with solo work, centring and checking in with yourself before starting partner or group work. In a class you will learn the acrobatic techniques to be able to lift and be lifted safely and more easily.

The acrobatic aspects of Acro Yoga build strength for both the flyer and the base, especially in the core, arms and legs. Acro Yoga includes lots of inversions such as supported Handstands and Headstands and so the flyer is able to receive the benefits of inversions such as improved circulation, empowerment and confidence. Usually both partners will take turns in each role. Unlike most forms of yoga, Acro Yoga involves an obvious physical connection with others as well as an emotional connection as we learn to trust each other while working in partnership. This brings a sense of community and warmth.
